What Makes Them Tick? Conceptualizing and Writing Personality Functioning Results

This 3.5-hour webinar aims to discuss how to conceptualize personality functioning test results and link them to the reason for referral and personal history of the client, as part of a psychological assessment.  Strategies on how to organize the key findings into themes will be elucidated.  Tips on how to write personality test functioning results to provide a better picture of the client’s current emotional and interpersonal functioning will also be discussed.  Exercises in putting it all together are included.

 

At the end of this 3.5-hour seminar-workshop, the participants would be able to:

  1. Conceptualize the socio-emotional functioning of a client by connecting personality test results to the reason for referral, personal history of the client, and other pertinent data.

  2. Organize test results into themes to aid in understanding different facets of the client’s socio-emotional functioning.

  3. Identify report writing principles relevant to writing the socio-emotional functioning section of a psychological report.

  4. Write results of personality tests in a relevant, concise, and coherent manner, as part of a psychological report.
